Dental veneers are custom-made shells of porcelain designed to cover the front surface of a set of teeth and improve appearance.

Discolored teeth
Worn down teeth
Chipped or broken teeth
Teeth that are uneven or irregularly shaped
Gaps between teeth
Benefits of dental veneers:
Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy
Stain resistant
Dark teeth appear whiter
Quick procedure
No downtime or recovery time
Getting a dental veneer usually requires two trips to the dentist:
Diagnosis and treatment planning
Your dentist will remove between 1/2 millimeter and 1 millimeter of enamel from the tooth surface. Next, your dentist will make a model or impression of your tooth and send it out to the laboratory. It usually takes up to 2 weeks for the dental clinic to receive the veneers from the laboratory
To prepare your tooth to receive the veneer, your tooth will be cleaned, polished and etched. A special cement is applied onto the veneer and then placed on your tooth. The final steps involve removing any excess cement, evaluating your bite and making any necessary final adjustments to the veneer
Do Dental Veneers Require Special Care?
Dental veneers do not require any special care and generally last between 5 and 10 years.
We do recommend to:
Continue to follow good oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing as you normally would
Avoid stain-causing foods and beverages such as coffee, tea or red wine
Avoid biting into hard foods in the area where the veneers are placed
